The Game
Description
Simple, competitive, and absolutely loads of fun, BallzOut is the Ball flinging/smashing game you have been waiting for. It’s a bit like Lawn Bowls, a bit like Air Hockey, and a lot like absolute nonsense.
Take it in turns to roll your Ballz into the scoring zone, you can either tactically place your Ballz in an area your opponent cannot reach or attempt to smash their Ballz out of the scoring zone.
History
BallzOut is a small project worked on over the Spring/Summer of 2020. The idea was to create a fun, competitive but very simple sport-type game. Taking inspiration from an old mobile game called ‘Flicky Circles’ we have expanded that basic premise to incorporate things like Power-Ups and of course, much flashier graphics thanks to Unreal Engine
The prototype for the game was built in just two weeks and it then took a few months to polish and get through the certification process on Nintendo Switch.
