Oh Hey, We Released A Game!?

Did we forget to tell everyone again?

2020 has been a somewhat challenging year, hasn’t it? So challenging in fact that I built and released a game without really saying anything about it as I just couldn’t be arsed really. Didn’t seem important. Well, I have now decided to at least acknowledge the existence of it and so here it is. BallzOut! Yes, that is the title.

A very small, very simple game that is 100% designed to be played locally with a friend and it combines lawn bowls, air hockey and takes cues from this wicked old mobile game called Flicky Circles. I guess that is all there is too it really? It is super cheap and available on Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.

It probably won’t get many updates moving forward as it was just a little experimental project and, quite frankly, something to distract me from lockdown and the world being on fire. I will keep it current with the new versions of Unreal Engine that arrive as I do have a slight urge to go in and add a proper AI opponent so people can properly play by themselves.

There is a single-player Challenge mode where you just try and get as many of your Ballz into the scoring zone as you can but I am very aware that is not a proper single-player mode. We shall see!
